简介：Suranne Jones, known for uncovering the hidden history of Victorian lesbian diarist Anne Lister’s in Gentleman Jack, turns her attention towards the historic persecution of women in witch trials.
Instead of using her acting talents, Jones will lead the documentary series. Through her research she will take viewers from Pendle, Lancashire to Salem, Massachusetts to Bamberg, Germany, where she will learn about the massacre of 1000 witches, persecuted only because of a lack of harvest.
