Her journey also features glimpses of Bugis Street, the trans community’s haven, in its glory days. These are contrasted with present-day Singapore, where the trans community has become marginalised. Quen eloquently chronicles the untold stories of trans women from three different generations, posing critical questions about the survival of the present LGBTQI community under a conservative government.
